Lauren Bryden (UK, b.1987) is a painter and printmaker working in Glasgow. In the last sixteen years, she has worked across printmaking, ceramics, jewellery, textiles and painting, developing a distinct multi-disciplinary practice. Her work is preoccupied with beauty/decay and growth/loss in both the matrescence and plant life-cycles, studying the reflections between the two and offering a system by which to explore and understand the maternal experience.
