What draws him to a particular image is its potential to present a scene that is open to a viewer bringing their own story, a story that can change: billboards, pictures hanging on studio or gallery walls and trees are recurring motifs.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBeyond the conceptual interest, Gow is fascinated with the physical act of making. The practice of printmaking, particularly the process, craft, and community of a workshop, is essential to how he thinks about and makes art.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eGow graduated with a BA(hons) in Painting and Printmaking from the Glasgow School of Art in 2010.
